You'll be studying the subjects you want at Scotland's largest school of computing: what better start to a career in information technology? Intended for entry at Year 3, the course assumes that you will already have a broad computing background. The skills you'll graduate with will depend on your choice of subjects. Overall, you'll develop extensive knowledge in both broad-based and specialist areas of information technology, and the practical skills necessary for applying this knowledge to the complex IT problems and issues that will arise in the field. What's involved You'll enter the course at Year 3 and learn through a combination of lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions and independent study. This course can also be studied full-time. Modules may include: Work Placement or Group Project, Project Management for Information Systems, Enterprise Systems, Customer Centred Design, Information Strategy, Information Society & Security, Knowledge Management, plus or a range of modules offered by our Business School including a European language, Honours Project.
