Description

This course is for adults with learning difficulties and disabilities. It aims to develop your personal independence and life skills, and provides you with opportunities to develop communication, life skills, problem solving, decision making and practical independent living skills.

Options will included the following depending on interest:

- horticulture
- independent living/travel
- cooking skills
- photography
- drama
- basic ICT skills

You gain the Award in Independent Living Entry 1.

The only entry requirement is that you have a successful interview with a member of the course team in order to ensure that we can fully meet your needs at Banbury and Bicester College.

Assessment is through the development of a portfolio of evidence to meet accrediting body requirements.

Learning is through practical activity including teamwork group work projects and external visits into the local community.
