This course is suitable for students wanting to gain the internationally recognised Cambridge First Certificate (FCE) qualification in English for speakers of other languages. The FCE is an exam for people who need to prove they can use everyday written and spoken English at an upper-intermediate level for work or study purpose. Course content
The programme includes:
- Preparation for the Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening and Use of English papers
- Vocabulary and Grammar development
- Exam practice
Teaching and assessment
Classroom work combines reading, writing, speaking and listening skills with a focus on vocabulary expansion and grammar consolidation. Regular exam practice takes place throughout the course.
Entry requirements
Students should have passed the Cambridge PET exam, or be assessed to be at an upper intermediate level.
Progression
Students can progress to the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE).
