Overview
About This Course:This full time or day release course prepares students to become technicians or technical engineers in the electrical engineering industry which deals with the production, transmission, distribution and application of electricity and the manufacture, installation and maintenance of electrical equipment.
Electrical Circuit analysis will be conducted within the course using the latest available software packages and laboratory analysis will be conducted on magnetic principles and practical electrical machines.
What You Need:- NC in an appropriate Engineering subject, OR
- Two Higher Grades – Maths and another (we’d prefer Physics)

What You Study:Some of the subjects you’ll study are Electrical Safety, Single Phase AC Circuits, Electrical Machine Principles, Maths for Engineers 1: Electronics and Electrical, Three Phase Circuits, and Power Systems.
After The Course:Career
Technician engineer.
Continuing study
Apply for the HND or various related degree courses.
How Long:One year, starting in August.
Location:Riverside Campus.
