About This Course:

This course leads to an accredited accountancy qualification and membership of the Association of Accounting Technicians.

What You Need:

The two stages of the AAT are linked to SCQF levels 6 and 8. The stage you start at will depend on your qualifications and experience, and you should call or email the Course Leader (Stephen Arbuthnot) to discuss which entry level is right for you.

Price:

Level 6: £900 | Level 8: £1300 per year

There are fees payable to AAT as well as purchasing workbooks

What You Study:

Level 6 Diploma in Accounting – Accounts Preparation, Costs & Revenues, Cash Management, Indirect Tax, Spreadsheets Software and Professional Ethics.

Level 8 Diploma in Accounting – Financial Statements, Budgeting, Financial Performance, Internal Control & Accounting Systems, Personal Tax, Business Tax or External Auditing.

Level 6 and Level 8 can be studied on a part time day or part time evening basis.

After The Course:

You can study for membership of senior professional accounting organisations including ICAS, ACCA, CIMA and CIPFA.

Dates:

Level 6

One year on a Wednesday from 9am – 4.45 pm

Weds 29th August 2012 – Weds 12th June 2013

Level 8

Year 1 – Thursday 9am - 4.45 pm

Thurs 30 August 2012 – Thursday 13 June 2013

Year 2 – Tuesday 9 am - 4.15 pm

Tues 28th August 2012 – Tues 26th February 2013

Evening option will run 2 evenings per week from September to June.
