On this apprenticeship, you could be installing fire or security systems and rigging them to control panels; testing systems; explaining to customers how to use the system; and repairing faulty systems. You could also be working with technologies like wire-free system links or infrared and fibre optics. You could even learn to fit complex arrangements like CCTV and integrated systems. This apprenticeship will provide you with the apprentice with the competence, skills and knowledge to work effectively and efficiently with security systems.
