The Veterinary Nursing Diploma is a day release course, usually
taking a minimum of three years. Student Veterinary Nurses will
study in our new purpose built classrooms and access our range of
animal collections. The course is intensive and a mixture of
theory, practical, assignments, examination and clinical practice.

I be Taught? The course is intensive and a mixture of taught theory
and practical. You will look at case studies, share practice from
your own work and be taught by a team of dedicated Registered
Veterinary Nurses. You will need to complete assignments,
examinations and clinical practice. You will be expected to study
independently at home and to complete a diary and also compile a
workbased online progress log (Central Skills Log) How will I be
Assessed? Learners are required to complete a series of
assignments, theory examinations and clinical skills examinations
when studying for the Diploma in Veterinary Nursing (Small Animal);
these are graded as pass or fail and learners are required to pass
all assessments to achieve the qualification. What our students
