opportunity to take some responsibility for your education What
will I Study? Within this first year of this course you will study
how important your target audience is when generating different
media products for them. Year ones assignments include; Magazine
page layout and design, journalism, graphic design, advertising
techniques, video editing, pre and post-production skills,
interview techniques, news gathering, sound editing, industry
studies and more. Within year 2, we add; Music video creation,
interactive media design and documentary making. How will I be
Taught? Delivery within this programme is by Units. You will study
10 units in year 1 and 9 in year 2. We often combine units with a
real life brief which provides an industry experience for the
learner. Of course we will teach you all of the new software skills
that you will need and the legal and ethical debates behind each
assignment. What is great about this course is that the majority of
the ideas behind the different products that you make, will be
yours! Albeit based on your own research! How will I be Assessed?
All units are assessed on a Pass, Merit and Distinction basis and
all of your assessment is gained from your coursework. There are no
