This fun and varied course covers a range of traditional techniques
and materials including: pencils, pastels, acrylic paint,
watercolours, oil pastels and oil paints. Topics that are covered
include: still-life, landscapes, figures /portraits. We also look
at getting and using the right art materials, art history,
stretching paper, mixing paintings and colour theory. How will I be
Taught? Practical demonstration by the tutor One to one tuition
within the group Individual/group discussion/evaluations of the
practical work acheived How will I be Assessed? Continuous
classroom assessment based on Recognising and Recording Progress
