The Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) requires employers to provide adequate training and to ensure that chainsaws and related equipment are operated only by employees who have received appropriate training in their safe use. Course Contents: - Site specification - Site safety and PPE - Environmental and legal requirements - Felling, delimbing and snedding trees up to 15” diameter - Takedown of hung-up trees - Use of felling and timber handling tools How will I be Taught? Experienced trainers (NPTC accredited) will teach theory and practical and offer a wide range of real life examples drawn from their workplaces. How will I be Assessed? You will be independently assessed by one of our NPTC approved assessors. We are able to arrange training and assessment at your premises or another site. What our students say?
