This course has been designed to continue on from the NCFE Level 2 course and caters for those students interested in furthering their knowledge of the artistic aspects of the Blacksmiths craft. The course will include:Health and Safety, MMA welding. Plus a range of forgework including: Acanthus Leaves, Gilding, Mortise and Tenon Joint, Hot Rivet, Leaf Hammer and Stake, Collar Making.The development of your personalised enterprise passport and enrichment activities fully enhance this course. How will I be Taught? This is primarily a practical based course that develops the skills required to progress on to blacksmithing. How will I be Assessed? Practical Assessment, End project, and portfolio.
