learning needs. What will I Study? Diploma in Clinical Healthcare
Support, Award in Employment Responsibilities and Right and
Personal Learning Skills, Functional Skills English Level 1 or 2
and Functional Skills Maths Level 1 or 2 How will I be Taught?
Self-study and one to one with an assessor who will visit you
regularly in the clinical setting. Resources and course materials
will be provided where appropriate. Group and/or one to one support
from a functional skills tutor if required. The Diploma in Clinical
Healthcare Support will comprise of mandatory and optional units
covering the relevant clinical area. How will I be Assessed?
Competence and knowledge is demonstrated through the completion of
a portfolio of evidence using written and oral evidence,
observation in the workplace, recognition of prior learning &
work products. Functional Skills in English and Maths is assessed
