Course Description:

The Foundation Diploma in Hair and Beauty Studies is an ideal course for you if you are interested in hair and beauty and would like to learn the fundamental principles about this exciting and high-impact industry. The UK’s hair and beauty industry is recognised as one of the best in the world and is growing at a rapid rate, so there are lots of opportunities available. You might find yourself working in a spa, running a hair salon, styling models for photo shoots or even helping people recover from disfiguring surgery. In the Foundation Diploma, you will be introduced to the hair and beauty sector’s training, qualification options and career opportunities. You will learn about the six main industries, which are hairdressing, barbering, African-Caribbean hairdressing and barbering, beauty therapy, spa therapy and nail services.
