A variety of interesting activities, exploring the language and techniques used by Shakespeare and other respected writers, journalists and poets will help to develop reading skills and your appreciation of literature. Class discussions will focus on a range of topics, including current affairs and issues of general interest. Different writing tasks and activities will help to strengthen your technical skills as well as your ability to express your ideas and opinions in an effective and persuasive way.

Course Length: One year Entry Requirements:Normally at least four GCSE passes at grade D and at least a grade E in English.
Assessment:You will be assessed through a combination of 40% coursework and 60% written examination.
