There are no qualifications required, but a willingness to work well, attend regularly and an active interest in your learning are very important.

How will I be assessed?

Before starting the course, you may be asked to take a short written exercise in Literacy and/or a Numeracy assessment, so that we are able to place you on the correct level.
On the course, your progress will be checked regularly through coursework, and short controlled assessments in your classes.

Successful completion of the course could lead to a Entry Level 3 Foundation Learning courses in the following:

  • Business Studies
  • Public Services
  • Health and Social Care/Childcare
  • ICT

The course also prepares you for the world of voluntary work, and will improve your employability and life skills.
