LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA IN BENCH JOINERY
This product does not have fixed starting dates and/or places.
The course has both theory and practical parts which will
prepare you for work in Bench Joinery. You will learn to a greater
depth and skill:
- Safe & Efficient Working
- Building Techniques
- Use fixed and transportable machinery
- Manufacture complete shaped products including; complete doors
and windows.
Essential skills sessions will also be provided to support and develop numeracy and literacy skills.
How you will gain the qualification
Assessment is by a range of methods which may include assignments, projects, case studies, practical exercises, question papers and portfolio building.

What qualifications you need
Applicants are required to have achieved a Level 2 Diploma in
Bench Joinery (or equivalent qualification or experience) and will
be required to attend an interview with the Course Tutor.
Candidates will need to provide suitable clothing and safety footwear for practical workshop sessions. Stationery equipment and materials will also be required.
Where to next
Typical progression is into the work environment, but there is a possible progression to Level 3 Construction Extended Diploma, (with adequate GCSEs) which can lead to university courses.
