Full TimeThis course is made up of a variety of creative media units and
you will develop skills through a range of activities to enable you
to achieve. You will experience working with digital technologies,
such as digital drawing, graphics, photography, animation, sound
and video. There will be opportunities to work with practising
professionals and designers. You will participate in cultural and
contextual activities and educational visits to support your
studies.
Your learning programme will be made up of a number of qualifications including Essential and Wider Skills.

How you will gain the qualification
Each unit is graded pass, merit or distinction and you will be required to achieve a minimum of a pass grade in each unit to qualify for an overall qualification grade.
What qualifications you need
A minimum of 4 GCSEs at grades A*- D or the successful
completion of a relevant Level 1 qualification awarded and
recommendation.
Entry in all cases is by interview, and you will have the opportunity to attend a taster session prior to the start of the course.
Where to next
BTEC Level 2 Diplomas are valued by employers and course prepares you for employment in the Creative Industries. If you want to continue and progress with your studies you can take a Level 3 qualification in a similar subject.
