Introduction to Animla Species


Safe and Effective Working Practices


Maintaining the Health and Well being of Animals


Feeding and Watering Animals


Preparation and Maintenance of Animal Accommodation


Learners will also study Essential skills, including literacy and numeracy

What qualifications you need

At least 4 GCSEs at Grade E or above, one of which must be Maths, English/Welsh or Science, or successful completion of relevant Entry Level Qualification. Students progressing from Entry 3 Level must show Literacy and Numeracy skills at Entry 3 Level or above in order to enrol. Prospective students will be interviewed to find out their suitability for the course. A commitment to regular attendance and good behaviour is essential. Applicants must be able to demonstrate an ability to work at Level 1.
