General information

This short course is a free introduction to the areas of motor vehicle study.

Course content

This short course is taught in the Technology Centre at our Bromley Campus. It will provide an insight for practical job roles within the motor industry and includes:

  • Working safely when completing basic vehicle maintenance tasks and checks
  • The identification and function of the main components of a car
  • How to identify and record basic maintenance operations

Students will also be able to extend their learning via our virtual learning environment.

Dates and times

This short course runs one day per week for four weeks. The course begins 26 April and runs until 17 May. Classes are Fridays from 9.30am-4pm.
