ECDL Extra is designed for intermediate users. It assumes no prior expertise, and offers a good standard of ICT skills and knowledge.
Course content
The units are: Word Processing Spreadsheets Presentations Improving Productivity Using IT
Teaching and assessment
A practical, hands-on course in a relaxed environment. Each of the 4 units requires an online assessment and full achievement will earn you the Level 2 CERTIFICATE IN IT USERS SKILLS (ITQ) (QCF) (16 credits)
Entry requirements
Literacy at Level 1 and numeracy at Level 1 plus basic PC skills or a prior level 1 qualification gained within the last 2 years.
