Routes for this course include General Insurance & Retail Banking.

This programme runs for approx. one year with flexible start dates. The apprenticeship can be fully delivered within the workplace, and the apprentice will need to work in an appropriate setting to achieve the skills and knowledge they need to achieve the Apprenticeship in Providing Financial Services which includes:

The course is demanding and requires organisation, commitment and teamwork from the Apprentice. During the course, the Apprentice will build up a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate the necessary skills and experience (they will be supported by an assessor in this), and will be entered for assessments as appropriate.

Entry requirements

The Apprentice must be employed for a minumum of 30 hours per week in a suitable role to demonstrate competence. There must be a line manager committed to on-the-job training who will liaise with College staff.
