Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector Award (PTLLS) Level 4

This is an introductory qualification which all new Teachers in the lifelong learning sector must complete. It is designed for those who work in industry, public service, or commerce, and for those who wish to teach or train in the lifelong learning sector. It forms part of the Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS qualification qualification).You are required to complete three written assignment of between 1,000 to 1,500 words each. Within each assignment you will need to demonstrate that you have been reading about the particular topic and include a reference and bibliography list. You will also complete a practical assessment. You will plan and deliver a 30 minute ‘micro’ teaching session to the members of PTLLS cohort.
