This course builds on the Level 2 qualification and equips the prospective Automotive Technician with the knowledge of diagnostic procedures for modern vehicles. Successful learners can progress onto an Automotive Apprenticeship or carry on with their studies at University.The diploma is delivered 50% in theory and 50% in practical and covers health, safety and good housekeeping, job roles within the automotive industry, materials & fabrication and vehicle system operation diagnostics in the following subjects:
