Description
This practical, work-related course provides a broad foundation
in Computing studies and a firm basis for specialism in Software
Development. You may leave the course at the end of the first year
with 90 credits, however successful completion of the full 2 year
course is equivalent to 3 A-levels and will therefore attract UCAS
points to enable entry to University.
The Extended Diploma is made up of 18 units: six core units plus 12
specialist units. The structure of the programme provides an
innovative and creative curriculum , covering core areas such as
