Description
This qualification is for people working in childcare settings
such as a pre-school or as a registered Child Minder with
supervisory responsibilities within the sector. It builds the
knowledge and skills needed when working with children and young
people from birth up to 19 years. The Diploma replaces the previous
Level 3 NVQ.
This course will take 1.5 years to complete. You will be expected
to attend college fortnightly and will be required to volunteer or
to be employed in a suitable childcare setting for a minimum of 12
hours per week.

Day Nurseries
Childminders
Kids’ Clubs
Children´s Centres
Nursery Schools
