The English language is all around us – in adverts, newspapers, subtitles, and webpages. The course explores the English Language from different perspectives. You will study topics such as: Language Development in Children, Accent and Dialect, the Changes in Language Across Time, Spoken Language and Political Correctness.There are two modules at AS level and a further two if you go on to study for a full A level.
