This course is aimed at adult learners who have done GCSE Spanish and want to take their study of Spanish a step further.
What will I study?you will study the following topics:
- A wide range of topical subjects relevant to Spanish
- you will learn to express your ideas and opinions both orally and in writing although the main emphasis is on oral fluency

- Media (television, Advertising, Communication technology)
- Popular Culture (Cinema, Music, Fashion Trends)
- Healthy Living/Lifestyle (Sport/Exercise, Health & Well-Being, Holidays)

All our classes are for adult students only (you must be 19 years old or over to join). You will learn through a series of class, small group and one-to-one activities, led by an experienced Spanish tutor. Assessments will be continuous throughout the course but we have designed them so that they are enjoyable and informative.
Course Entry CriteriaCandidates should have completed GCSE Spanish or equivent
The college operates a no refunds policy as detailed below. Cancellations and transfer requests are subject to the following conditions:
- More than 4 weeks notice – no charge
- 4 weeks notice – 30% of the cost
- 2-3 weeks notice – 50% of the cost
- 1-2 weeks notice – 75% of the cost
- Less than 1 weeks notice – 100% of the cost
All cancellations must be made in writing and are subject to a £10 administration charge. The full fee’s policy is available on request.
What will I get at the end of the course?You will recieve a Certificate of Attendence from Blackburn College.
How much does it cost?£190.00 per person – you may be entitled to reduced fees if you are in receipt of certain state benefits on this course.
