First Aid at Work Requalifying course

Who is the course for?

The course is for delegates who already hold a full First Aid Certificate that is nearing expiry. Candidates will be accepted on the course within the last 3 months validity of their current certificate or 28 days after the expiry date.

What will I study?

Over the 2 days, delegates will recap the areas previously covered in the full First Aid at Work course. Skills and knowledge are refreshed in line with latest guidelines.

How will the course be delivered?

Through classroom based activities alongside a tutor and other delegates at a similar level. Attendees will be entered for an exam at the end of the course.

Course Entry Criteria

This course is essential for those holding a three-year First Aid certificate nearing expiry. Delegates will be accepted on the course within the last 3 months of validity of their current certificate or 28 days after expiry date. Please note certificates must be produced as evidence on commencement of the course.

The college operates a no refunds policy as detailed below. Cancellations and transfer requests are subject to the following conditions:

• More than 4 weeks notice – no charge
• 4 weeks notice – 30% of the cost
• 2-3 weeks notice – 50% of the cost
• 1-2 weeks notice – 75% of the cost
• Less than 1 weeks notice – 100% of the cost

All cancellations must be made in writing and are subject to a £10 administration charge. The full fee’s policy is available on request.

What will I get at the end of the course?

You will receive a Blackburn College Certificate of Attendance (approved by HSE) upon successful completion of the training; delegates will be qualified for a further 3 years.

How much does it cost?

The course is priced at £75.00 per delegate (prices are subject to change) and this includes all tuition, paperwork and a Certificate of Attendance.
