On this course your existing knowledge will be enhanced and you will learn a lot more about what Photoshop is capable of such as 3D, animation and web page design.
What will I study?Week 1: Recap
and summary week of Photoshop basic course, which includes an
overview of the interface and workspace, working with layers, layer
masks and common tools
Week 2: Creating website banners, more on using the pen tool
and layer masking, introduction to Photoshop CS6 3D
Week 3: Recap of week 2, working with 3D text and
objects
Week 4: Recap of week 3, photoshop CS6 animation
Week 5: Recap of week 4, putting it all together to create
web pages

Throughout the course students will be given exercises and tasks to check their knowledge and extra support will be offered to any individual who may be struggling. It would be preferable if students have a copy of Adobe Photoshop CS6 at home so they can practice their skills week to week.
The course runs for 2 hours per week for 5 weeks using Microsoft Windows based software.
Course Entry RequirementsYou should have completed the basic course or have a reasonably sound knowledge of the essential concepts of Photoshop including the interface, workspace, layers, layer masks and common tools such as the pen, brush and marquee tool.
The college operates a no refunds policy as detailed below. Cancellations and transfer requests are subject to the following conditions:
- More than 4 weeks notice – no charge
- 4 weeks notice – 30% of the cost
- 2-3 weeks notice – 50% of the cost
- 1-2 weeks notice – 75% of the cost
- Less than 1 weeks notice – 100% of the cost
All cancellations must be made in writing and are subject to a £10 administration charge. The full fee’s policy is available on request.
