Would you like to study for a Maths qualification, but don’t think that you are ready yet? Would you like to study on another course, but you need to have a maths qualification? Do you hate the thought of maths classes? If you enjoy gardening then why not combine gardening with maths; learn how to grow plants and design your own garden. This course will help to set you on your way, by reminding you of the things that you have forgotten, and by teaching you new areas. This will prepare you to study for a GCSE at a later date or another course of your choice.

Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements but you will be assessed on entry to ascertain your level in Mathematics. You will then be advised if your level is appropriate for this course. If it is felt that you are not quite at the level required you will be offered another Mathematics course to study. This course is designed to help students towards a Level 2 qualification in adult numeracy so students who already hold a Level 2 or GCSE Mathematics would not be suitable for this course.
Delivery & Assessment methods
Assessment will be by internal test or external examination
Progression
You can continue on this course and gain a higher level in Mathematics, or progress to any other course that you are qualified to undertake.
