The GCSE specification in Spanish will enable learners to:

Entry Requirements
Learners will already have studied Spanish at GCSE Level and achieved at least a grade D.
Delivery & Assessment methods
Learners will develop the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing; these will be tested in two written examinations and four tasks completed in class under controlled conditions.
Progression
The GCSE Spanish specification should prepare learners to make informed decisions about further learning opportunities, such as progression to a Level 3 course in French and career options.
