Would you like to improve your written English skills but hate the thought of sitting in a classroom? Have you dreamed of writing a short story or a children's book but feel that your English isn't good enough? Well, here is your chance to improve your English and find your hidden talents.

This course will address, and improve all areas of English whilst bringing out your creative side.

This is a part time course and can be studied during the day or the evening. Please check during interview which sites offer day or evening courses You will be expected to attend three hours per week (one half day) for a daytime course or 3.5 hours per week (one evening) for an evening course. Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements but you will be assessed on entry to ascertain your level in English. You will then be advised if your level is appropriate for this course. If it is felt that you are not quite at the level required you will be offered another English course to study. This course is designed to help students towards a level 2 qualification in adult literacy so students who already hold a Level 2 or GCSE English would not be suitable for this course. No interview is required for this course. Applicants will be invited to enrol before the course is due to start.

Delivery & Assessment methods

Assessment is by external examination.

Progression

Progression. You can continue on this course and gain a higher level in English or progress to any other course that you are qualified to undertake.
