This qualification is aimed at giving participants
the ability to assess their own suitability for
starting and running an enterprise and to assist
in their decision making. The qualifications also
explore the implications of starting up and
running a business.
Course content
Learners gain an understanding of the risks involved in self employment alongside the skills, knowledge and abilities needed to start and run an enterprise. Learners also cover other practical aspects of enterprise including; legal and financial requirements for starting and running a business, the marketing/selling of products/services, and how to prepare a business plan.
