Course content
Units studied include: A World Divided - Stalin's Russia 1924 - 53; Equality in the USA 1945 - 68; The Experience of Warfare in Britain 1854 - 1929 - The Crimea, Boer and the First World War
Progression
An A level in History along with two other A levels can serve as the stepping stone to a variety of degree courses at university and careers as diverse as journalism, social and community work, local government, teaching and care work.
