MH Art & Craft Workskills E3 (Core)

Who is this course for? People interested in art and recovering from mental health difficulties who are at a stage in their recovery where they are able to benefit from being involved in contributing to a social enterprise creating artworks in response to paid commissions. What qualifications or experience do I need ? People should be at a stage in their recovery where they are ready to make a commitment to Arts 89, attend regularly and be able to cope with the college environment as well as helping to run a social enterprise. What will I study ? You will be offered the chance to improve your basic skills, if necessary; work within a community to produce art works e.g. mosaics. There will also be work skills associated with running a small business. How will I be assessed ? Through course work and assignments. What qualifications could I achieve ? Edexcel Workskills Entry 3, Edexcel Art & Design Units Entry 3 & Level 1 What can the course lead to ?
