Who is this course for? This course will equip you with some of the technician level skills and knowledge of the industry standard computer aided design software and you will be able to gain a recognised qualification to enhance your employability. What qualifications or experience do I need ? This is a course for beginners and no previous qualifications are required. What will I study ? You will study for 1 Unit - The Principles and Practice of 2D Computer Aided Design. The course introduces you to AutoCAD and covers features of the software including how to: * produce, plot and save 2D drawings * produce fully dimensioned 2D drawings in orthographic and pictorial projections * customise AutoCAD and produce fully- dimensioned 2D drawings. Fast Track AutoCAD Level 2 This course is also offered intensively as an alternative. This takes place one full day a week for 10 weeks. How will I be assessed ? You will be assessed through 2 practical assignments and an on-line test. What can the course lead to ? Depending on your knowledge of AutoCAD, it is advisable to follow the progression route from AutoCAD Level 2 to AutoCAD Level 3 . We also offer courses in Autodesk Rivet and 3D Studio Max.
