Who is this course for? Men and women seeking a career as body massage therapists in the Beauty, Spa and Health industries. What qualifications or experience do I need ? Level 2 qualification in English. No previous massage experience or other qualification is required. What will I study ? Body massage and its related complementary therapy subjects. How will I be assessed ? Written assignments, on-line exam, external written exam, practical assessments and case study evidence. What qualifications could I achieve ? Level 3 Diploma in Body Massage (City & Guilds). What can the course lead to ? Work as a massage therapist or progression to a further complementary therapy or beauty therapy course. How do I join the course ? Attend an interview. Will I need an interview ? Yes, a literacy test will occur at interview. Are there any extra costs for equipment/materials ? Uniform costing �57.00 is to be purchased. Further advice for materials and optional books will be given at induction. Further Information The course includes working on male and female college clients and peers. Other Attendance above 85% is required throughout the course. Full completion of all assessment criteria is also required in order to complete the qualification. Towels need to be provided.
