Additional assessment may be carried out by tutor observation
and/or witness statements. Assessment of this course will be taught
mainly within the context of motorsport and engineering.
You gain knowledge of motorsports industry processes develop your personal skills and build your self confidence.
Applicants for a level 2 programme will normally have:
- at least four GCSEs at grade D or above and/or a completed level
1 award
- GCSEs to include English and maths at grade D or above or level 1
functional skills qualifications
- the willingness to study for an additional qualification in
English and/or maths

Applicants will be invited to attend an interview and complete an
internal assessment. All students will have their literacy and
numeracy needs supported within the programme.
If you achieve merit level in the science and maths units then you can progress to the BTEC National Award course.
Your training takes place at our specialist motorsport engineering campus at Bicester. You have a varied curriculum supported by a number of motorsport/engineering-related visits and a team building event.
