Short Course - Health and Safety for Healthcare Workers

Introduction

This course will provide you with the basics that you need to know about health and safety for Health Care workers. Healthcare workers carry out such a wide range of different duties and play such an important and essential role in improving the quality of life for thousands of people including the elderly, sick, disabled, people suffering with mental ill-health and those with learning difficulties. This work involves looking after adults and children in a wide variety of settings ranging from hospitals, day centres, care homes, hospices through to caring for clients in their own homes.
