Introduction

There are 8 Standards within the Common Induction Standards framework and these have been released as individual modules to help managers to control the order in which the induction standards are delivered and therefore better align them to each individual’s needs. This approach also means that smaller pieces of work can be completed by candidates and be signed off in turn by the relevant Care Manager (once completed) before each individual moves on to the next standard.

How Will I Be Assessed?

Once you have completed all sections and passed the multiple choice exam at the end of the course, you will need to download your certificate and ask your manager to sign this off and keep it on file as a record of the fact that you have completed the standard. There are 8 different certificates required to demonstrate you have completed all aspects of the Common Induction Standards and each is uniquely referenced and can be tracked within the online system.

There are no formal entry requirements for the course

Progression

Progress to complete all 8 standards. You may also wish to consider an NVQ in Health Care or a related subject.
