Level 3 Diploma in Aromatherapy

Introduction

This recognised qualification will equip you with the skills to provide aromatherapy within a salon or spa. Along with the practical aspects of the course you will also cover Anatomy and Physiology and Health and Safety specific to Complementary Therapy.

What Will I Learn

You will develop the basic skills necessary to begin a career in the Beauty industry as an aromatherapy masseur and practitioner.

How Will I Be Assessed?

You will be continually assessed in the form of written assignments, tests and case studies. Practical assessments will be carried out on clients.

Entry Requirements

You will already hold a Anatomy and Physiology Level 3 qualification. All applicants must be over 19 as stipulated by the awarding body. A massage qualification is preferable although not essential.

You will need to purchase the following, Uniform tunic - approximately £25.00, Text books - approximately - £30.00, Aromatherapy oil kit – approximately £200.

Progression

There will be the opportunity to progress to full-time options such as Level 3 Diploma in Complementary Therapies.
