Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Hospitality Services (QCF)

Introduction

This programme offers a progression to students who are interested in both kitchen (back of house) & restaurant (front of house ) work.

What Will I Learn

You will have a variety of opportunities to learn, train and develop skills for employment within the hospitality industry. As part of this full time programme, you will be required to develop your English and Maths skills and successfully achieve a Functional Skills qualification at the appropriate level.

How Will I Be Assessed?

A portfolio of work will be developed from each module, giving you a comprehensive work record to use for progression opportunities. You will assessed by continuous assessments based on observed practical performance and multiply choice exams.

Entry Requirements

You will be working in this area and have completed a level 1. You will also be required to attend an interview and sit a basic skills test.

Additional Information

Students will need to purchase a uniform and kit at a cost of approximately £200.

Once you have achieved this qualification, you will be ready to seek employment.

Career Opportunities

This vocational qualification is designed to equip you with the skills required within the workplace. Positions that would be open to you will include Commis Chef, Barista and Waiter/Waitress.
