How Will I Be Assessed?
Progress and achievement is recorded throughout the year via practical assessments, theory assessments, external tests and a practical synoptic assignment.Entry Requirements
You must have a minimum of four GCSEs including English and Maths, and show a genuine interest in the Carpentry and Joinery industry. Entry is also subject to an interview, basic skills screening and an initial assessment.Additional Information
You will also study a qualification in Personal and Social Development and a Functional Skill in either, Maths, English or I.T.. A course contribution fee of £50.00 will apply, this contributes towards an external trade-related trip, course textbook and cProgression
Upon successful completion, you may proceed onto the Level 2 Diploma in Bench Joinery or Site Carpentry.Career Opportunities
