Level 1 Award in Web Design (NCFE)

Introduction

This fully online qualification is for students who are using IT web based design within their job or plan or pursue a career in a job requiring these web design skills. The qualification will enable students to apply knowledge, understanding and skills to a recognised level by employers, thus proving competency in their job role.

What Will I Learn

You will develop an understanding of basic web design processes, using manual HTML editing, advanced software applications and multimedia elements.

How Will I Be Assessed?

You will be assessed by submitting a portfolio of evidence.

There are no formal entry requirements for the course.

Additional Information

This course requires access to Dreamweaver and Photoshop Elements software (student discounts would apply). The computer you access the course with should be of a reasonable specification, but you do not need the very latest and fastest in technology. All

The NCFE Level 1 Award in IT User Skills - Web Design is a nationally recognised qualification which means you will be able to apply to study a Level 2 course in web design
