Diploma in Hairdressing

Introduction

This programme is aimed at students with a keen interest in the hairdressing industry.

What Will I Learn

You will develop the valuable skills of communication and confidence with clients and an awareness of workplace requirements. The programme supports you to progress to a Level 2 qualification.

How Will I Be Assessed?

You will carry out a range of practical assessments within a commercial working environment. You will also collate theoretical evidence in the form of assignments, projects and tests.

Entry Requirements

Additional Information

Students will need to purchase a Hair Kit, uniform and text books at a cost of approximately £350. During the course there will be the opportunity to attend workshops and exhibitions at an approximate cost of £100.

Progression

All our programmes are designed to allow you to progress from your appropriate entry level up to University, Foundation Degrees or the workplace. The direct progression from this programme would be NVQ Diploma in Hairdressing (Level 2); Level 2 NVQ Diplom

Career Opportunities

This vocational qualification is designed to equip you with the skills required within the workplace. Positions which would be open to you will include Hairdressing Assistant or Receptionist.
