CIPD Level 5 Certificate in Human Resource Management

Introduction

This Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) programme is designed for those who require a wider perspective of the organisational issues facing human resource professionals. It will also allow you to develop effective analytical and problem solving techniques.

What Will I Learn

This course will give you a thorough insight into the principles and practices of HR that you will be able to utilise in the workplace and in everyday life. Opportunities will be provided within the framework of the programme for students to develop and practice a range of appropriate skills that will enable them to perform effectively in a practitioner or supporting operational role.

How Will I Be Assessed?

Each module is assessed by an individual assignment/report.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements although you should be able to demonstrate a genuine desire to study Human Resource Management and ideally have 3 to 5 years experience in a related role.

Additional Information

The course runs every Tuesday afternoon (term time only) and you will also be required to attend three Saturday workshops. Membership of CIPD is required - the membership fee of £180 to be paid directly to The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Develo

Progression

Studying additional modules the following year will allow you to upgrade this qualification to a Diploma in HRM. You will be able to undertake a Masters in Human Resource Management and become a Chartered Member of the CIPD
