The BTEC National Diploma is a vocational and academic qualification. The Extended Diploma is a two year course being completed as a subsidiary Diploma in Year 1, students who successfully complete year one will be able to progress in to year two and the full extended program. How Will I Be Assessed?
You will carry out a range of in-depth assignments and practical assessments to complete this course.Entry Requirements
You will already hold 4 GCSEs at grade C or above (English, Mathematics, Physical Education and Science are preferred). A full Level 2 Diploma Qualification that is sports related may also be considered.Additional Information
You will be required to purchase the following - uniform and text books at a cost of approximately £200. A Certificate in First Aid will also be completed. During the course there will be the opportunity to attend events and additional coaching courses aProgression
The progression from this programme is the Sport HNC or University Degree.Career Opportunities
