Description

Introduction

You will learn various different perspectives in Psychology and will use research methods including inferential statistical tests, qualitative and quantitative methods.

What Will I Learn

You will learn about different perspectives in psychology, use research methods and analyse the results of both qualitative and quantitative methods. You will have the experience of designing your own studies, learning a number of core studies, and critically evaluating research.

The AS Level consists of 2 units, both of which will be examined and have integrated coursework.

Entry Requirements

5 x C grades at GCSE including GCSE Maths, English Language and Science.

You will require 2 textbooks - Psychology AS for WJEC: The Complete Companion and Psychology for WJEC AS Level.

Progression

Upon completion, you can continue the study of Psychology at A2 Level.
