What can I do next?

You may like to enrol on a project-based course that will allow you to develop your own ideas using a range of media, or a medium that you have particularly enjoyed exploring in this one-day session. Or you could start to practice on your own or with friends; submit work for national or local exhibition; join a local art society.
If you would like more information about progression opportunities, please speak to your tutor or other member of staff.

What will I need?

You will complete an Individual Learning Plan for the day progress will be reviewed during the day.
What will I need to bring?
Please bring a small sketchbook (the kind you would use on holiday or to travel with) along with any materials you would like to try working with. As a minimum these should include a pencil, a fine pen or biro and some watercolour paints.
Also useful would be scraps of paper that you can use for collage such as newspaper, pages from magazines or mixed art papers, as well as a glue stick.
If the weather is good we will be able to work outside, however please also bring some holiday photos to work from, in the event of bad weather.
There will be just a 30 minute lunch break so please also remember to bring a packed lunch.
