This course has been specifically designed to reduce the risk of fire through the promotion of fire safety awareness and basic fire training for all staff.
A course of particular importance because of the legal requirement contained within the 1971 Fire Precautions Act, 1974 Health & Safety at Work Act, The Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations 1997, which came into effect on 1 December 1997 and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

Prerequisites
None. This course will provide a good level of knowledge and skills to enable even a complete novice to be confident in dealing with hazardous situations.

Qualification
After successful completion candidates will receive a certificate valid for one year.
This qualification provides evidence sufficient to meet the training requirements laid down in the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
